steering rack 87' 5KTQ - HELP!

Well I got my old steering rack all loose but I cant seem to get it out!
Is there any easy way? I've just tried to get it out through the
passenger side but the hole dosent quite look big enughf and I'll have
to take off the tie rod too. (is there an easy way to do this with out a
special tool?)  Please help me!!!!!!
