RE: tie rod end



He put the extra boot on the new tie rod end.  What concerns me is that the boot that came attached to the tie rod end is just that - attached and sealed.  The new boot fits around the tie rod end, but it's not tight.  My concern is that dirt will get in and screw things up.

Sounds like he put on another boot...was this on the new tie rod or the old
one?
