Radiator cooling fan running continuously
The cooling fan on my 1986 5KCSTQ runs on high speed at all times the
ignition switch is on. The temperature gauge is erratic (most of the
time it works), but this problem has existed before the latest fan
issue. Can a bad multifunction switch do this? The normal afterrun
function seems ok, and the underhood temp sensor does not appear to be
the problem. Is it possible it is the 3rd stage relay? and if so, what
number is it?
I am sure this has been posted in the past, but I have been away from
the list for a few months.
