I like the look too but steering geometry and alignment are two different 
animals ... unless he moved the pickup points or otherwise other modified 
parts of the suspension, installing wheels with a different offset changed 
the geometry by a fair amount.  There's a chance it could help things but 
also a chance it can screw them up ... based upon my (limited) number 
crunching, my suspicion is that it screwed them up.   Just my two cents 
worth...
