If you ever have a chance to compare an A4 and a Passat taken apart at a
body shop, go look.  Big differences in the way and with what materials they
are put together with.  I suggest starting with the doors, part by part.
Neither MB C-class or BMW 3-series can match Audi for the detailed design
and execution when you start looking at them part by part in body
construction and the materials.  The body and interior design (not talking
styling here, either) are Audi's strength.

We sell'em both, they are both good, but the Audi costs more, as it should.
