No firm price on the S4 yet for the States (that I've heard), but it's
supposed to come in around US$38K base price. That's almost an exact match
for CDN$57K (at .667 CDN$ pr. US$), so maybe that's about right.

Don't know what the people who cancelled were expecting. I'm happy it's
under $40K base price.

Just got off the phone with my dealer and he informed me that the price for 
the new S4 I ordered will be $57,000 Canadian +++ so we're talking close to 
$70,000 (incl. all special and regular taxes) to drive it off the lot 
(ouch!).

Btw - he got 2 cancellations yesterday after they were told the price.

Curious - what's the '00 S4 and '99 M3 selling for in the states...
