This is interesting thatou mention these things.  Based on what you just 
said, you have spent NO time in the new VW line.  I can tell you, that 
after just going through 3 full day classes about these cars, that they 
are outstanding achievements in many ways.

The VR6 is different now, the 2.0 4 cylinder is improved, and the 
interiors are alot better than they were...check out a Passat GLX 
sometimes, its hard to say that it has quality flaws....
