choices on the fate an old friend...

Having finally found a replacement for my 86 5kq, I need to decide what
to do with it.

My original plan was to move all nearly new replacement parts over to the
'91 200q, but so far I have been totally unsucessful.

( Rear calipers and rotors, less than a year old, different design..
Alternator, 18 month old rebuild, lower amp capacity, 95 vs. 115..
Alloy wheels and BFG Comp T/A VR4s, new car uses 215-60 BBS alloys..,
Fuel pump, 15 months old, new car uses a higher capacity pump.. etc)

Till twelve weeks ago the '86 was a daily driver on cool days, (due to slow
freon leak.) Right now it is temporarily dead due to some chewed up wires
from the speed sensors to the CPU.

I am considering donating the q to a charity, being the quickest way out for
me, but would like to explore other alternatives, perhaps a home with a list
member as a parts car, or even a fixer-upper...

If anyone has any interest, please E-mail me, the car is in Ann Arbor,
Michigan
( or call me at home, (734)-973-0790 )
