AOA comes through with payment for my fuel leak!
I didn't do anything special. I called AOA again this morning, and Lisa
Brown came on the line and told me that after further review, Audi is going
to pay 100%. I hadn't even said anything yet. Anyway, she was very
apologetic about the whole affair. The only thing that she asked was that
the FAQ be modified to not include specific names, because the cases are
assigned to agents by region. Darin are you out there?
Anyway, my faith in AOA is restored and my wife is very happy. BTW, the
repair would have cost $420 at the dealer, had Audi not paid for it.
Sorry for the soap opera.
