Re: "New" wheels
Chris, most of the badging had been removed (pretty nice job not destroying
everything around the trunk, I might add) and the yard had "90 Audi 100"
across the w/s. I don't know enough about VINs and "typeXX" interpretations,
but the part number that I bought is 443 601 025F. Four lug, 4x108 spacing(I
measured lug to lug centerlines just to be sure,) 6Jx15H2 (oe wheels are
6Jx14H2,) brushed aluminum surface, very "AMG" looking wheels. Wheel matches
up perfectly, bolting up to the hub flange and lug holes, lugs I took off the
donor are identical to my oe lugs. Unless I am missing something (probably
wrong on the donor model #,) these wheels fit well and give the brake rotors
and calipers about 1/2 inch more room. Let me know if I have made a fatal
error in this purchase.
