It is well known in boating circles and in seashore communities that there
is always a good show down at the local boat launch ramp.  At one of the
ones I know, the locals show up with lawn chairs to watch the entertainment.
It never fails.  People screw up big time.  They launch boats with the drain
plug missing; get the tow vehicles stuck on a rising tide; fight with each
other; and, best of all, argue and scream at their spouses.  Great fun.
Almost as good as watching people anchoring their boats.
