| HELP | G60 caliper bolton to 4ksq

[CC'ed directly to some that might be able to help, sorry for the
intrusion]

I need some help, please. If I don't get an answer (a positive one,
actually), then I may miss out on getting the parts I need before
they are trashed.

I'm trying to confirm that these are the strut housings that I will
need to bolt G60 calipers onto my 4ksq. I'm using the method that
involves putting together a bunch of stock parts from different cars.

The basic parts list and procedure are listed here:
http://20v.org/20v/brakeupg.htm

But this is for a 80/90/CQ chassis. I had an email that I saved long
ago from someone, and it totally spelled out that the G60's can be
bolted onto the 4ksq chassis, as long as the strut housings are
taken from an '88 plus (but earlier than '91) Audi 80 or 90 (quattro
or not, doesn't matter). These are not the two piece strut
housings, I believe (or at least, they are not the ones that use the
cast A-arm). (If you remember the email/post I'm referring to, it
starts out by saying "Okay, I could have sworn I've posted this
before...")

The part numbers are:

BDK
893 407 254 - (253 stamped on other side)

These are allegedly from an '88 90 fwd.

Please copy me via direct email if possible.

Thanks,

Ken
