Mobile One Oil Filter

Hi List,

I went to Schuck's to pick up some Mobile One oil, and as I don't have a
replacement oil filter, went browsing through their assortment just-for-fun.
I noticed in addition to the usual FRAM filters, they had a higher quality
FRAM (the DG line), a K&N oil filter and a Mobile One oil filter.

I am sure the employees thought I was touched, but I found myself sitting on
the floor with the four oil filter boxes open, and was examining the four
oil filters.  Part of the examination involved juggling them to get a feel
for their mass :-)

I had never heard of a Mobile One oil filter, so I was intrigued.

The normal $5 FRAM and the $10 FRAM DG are both pieces of shit.  The $10 K&N
appears no better.

The $10 Mobile One was the most interesting.  The heaviest of the four by
far, it appears to include a valve to control back flow, just like the real
filters.  I bought one and am debating using it.

Anyone have any ideas about who makes the Mobile One Filter, and how it
stacks up against the Bosch?
