Jet engine noise and a great suggestion

Hello:

About a week ago, I hit a curb real hard and lately my car virbrates so
bad that my right knee hurts. There is also a load noise coming from the
front end that sounds like a jet engine.

I suspect a wheel bearing, but how do you check for a bad wheel bearing,
inner and outer CV joint? The noise and vibration start as soon as the
car is in motion and gets worse the faster I go. No clunking, just a
horrible noise and bad vibration.

Oh, my great suggestion: how about a FAQ section on the web page (Dan,
are you there?) A lot of questions on this list seem to be repeats:
What's an Ur-Q, MC, car won't start (checklist), etc. I think a
checklist of items to check would be a helpful addition to an already
great site.
