I understand.  I wonder if there is much variance between the years 
and models in the type of splines that are on the part of the 
driveshaft that goes into the CV joint.  If there are problems 
matching up the inner CV joint to the flange, you might be able to 
swap around different axle parts and come up with a fit.  Am I too 
optimistic?
