Thank you Stott Hare and Ti Kan and Huw Powell AND Dave Lawson

Hare,Stott (X) decided to speak these words:

>90% sure you have the high, low and ground connectors in the wrong places
>for the H4 bulb. Mix them up, and they will appear to work, but you create
>ground loops and other weirdness. You switch on your H4s, but you're using
>the low and high beam wires (no ground), so the power travels over through
>the H1 bulb to find ground, lighting the H1 dimly.

Thank you to these guys for figuring out what the problem was. I had
wired the thing backwards. I got dislexic and confused cause i was
working from the top of the lights while they were mounted facing the
opposit direction.

I appologize for insisting that i had the wiring right when i had
obviously not done so...

Thank you for everyone who put in their ideas. I really love this list...

I just ordered a real wiring harness from 2bennett. My friend Mike
Robinson (on this list) has the H4/H1's in his 90Q with their harness.
When i was looking at it last night, i was very impressed with the
quality of the workmanship and the detail that it has....plus, it is
clean and looks good.

Thanks again all...

later...
