4000 Trim Reattachment
Well, Subject line says it all.
It's time to reattach that pesky passenger door trim. Going to Montreal
next week and must look good for all of the cute Quebecqois ladies.
So, I'm washing the car really well, lots of soapy water. Then after it
dries, I'm taking the 3M adhesive removal spray to the grimy black stained
stuff left over on the door. Then, doing the same to the loose trim, so
that any dirt it has accumulated with be non-existant, and the same for any
old adhesive.
Now, I'm ready to stick. Got my 3M trim adhesive spray stuff, and I'm
going to spray it down extremely liberally (as directed) then hold it to
the place for 5 minutes, hoping the stuff will take hold. Then I wait 24
hours before driving around at insane speeds.
Any more ideas to add to the pile?
