Re: vapor locking I5



Although (because?)  the gas sold here in central Arizona is said to be 
formulated especially for high temps, I've never had a problem with vapor 
lock on any of my Audis, even when there's still gas in the tank from cooler 
parts of the state or neighboring states.  I find this even more interesting 
since I've pulled the injector cooling fans on both of my cars for easier 
service access and have experienced temps as high as 118 degrees in them with 
no starting or driveability problems whatsoever...
