...which is the case on my car; both left and right front strut boots are
fully torn.
The suspension does make a funny little sound (not a clunk, more of an
"oomp") as you turn the steering wheel across the "straight-ahead" point,
driving at low speeds. I first thought it was the rack, but the sound has
persisted after a rebuilt rack... so I really hope it's not this rack,
too. Does that seem like a strut bearing noise? If so, I'll pull the whole
strut and replace them.
