Overheating and Radiator Thermoswitch on '93 V6
Hello All,
Does anyone know what the Bosch (I'm assuming that it's Bosch) part number
is for the 3 pin radiator thermoswitch on a '93 V6 engine? My local part's
guy says that his book doesn't list it however, if I had a Bosch number, he
might be able to find it...
Just in case I'm barking up the wrong tree... my 90 is running hotter than
normal lately, so after some investigation, I found that the radiator fans
are not kicking on until the car is much hotter than normal. (hot enough
that the A/C compressor kicks off) I think that it gets to the point that
the stage 2 fan setting should kick in, but it only hits stage 1. I pulled
the cable from the thermoswitch and shorted out the connection and the fans
kick on perfectly both stage 1 and 2. After digging in the archives, it
seems that the thermoswitch is a common replacement, but I thought that I
would check to see if anyone had any ideas.
As always, I much appreciate it.
