Fun stuff. No, that _isn't_ the tool box, it's the 'small parts' box.
The real tool box is currently a nine-tray cantilever job ...
The tent in the background in ukqoc2 was our rain refuge (it didn't),
general eating spot, and garage - we also watched the Grand Prix on
television in there on Sunday. Roger and I crashed out in it on
Saturday night - thanks to the withdrawal of US forces from Europe I
have some quite good ex-US Army camping equipment. At 05:50am I was
awakened by the sound of Roger putting the first quattro of the day
on ramps. Breakfast was beer and chocolate cake. Relentless sunshine
all day - wrenching punctuated by trips to fetch more beer and burgers
from the pits.
Sadly, one of the ur-quattros in the pictures was stolen from Birmingham
Airport five days ago. There is little hope of recovering it.
