Thanks to all of you for the information on increasing engine power.
Although it is a 50% increase in power, it just didn't seem like much to
me. My last car had a small block 350 GM engine, and I new just about
every trick there was to gain power. I could have doubled my Hp for well
under $2000. But, the car handled like a school bus, heck it looked like
a bus.

It sounds to me like the best thing to do is, well, transplant a better
engine. Where I live ther isn't much problem finding donors, it's the
money that stops me. So, I'll look at my options and see what works
best, no doubt it means transplanting.

Maybe my mecanic friends can give me a deal......
