Personally, I'd be very reluctant to tow with a turbocharged gasoline car.
The load would keep the pressure in the exhaust manifold high potentially
overworking the turbo and head.  I could be wrong though.

It doesn't really matter if I'm wrong for my purposes though.  There's now a
new Passat V6 in my garage(future wife's) so I can put a hitch on that.

So, if anyone has information on where to get hitches for these cars, please
forward it.  I want to get one of the mini-receiver styles.
