Well some related BTDT. One of the window motors on the V8 quit working, and 
troubleshooting pointed to the motor. After disassembly, I was impressed with 
the quality, and found that all I needed to do was clean up the comutator and 
reseat the brushes. Use very fine sand paper to both clean the comutator and 
reseat the brushes.Clean the comutator carefully before reassembly. HTH
