I have 1991 vintage MSW five spoke 7x15 ET35 on my front and had the
rear rims milled down to ET40 for the rear. Just enough to tuck them in.
Alignment settings are stock for front and rear. Total cost was $60. I
run Dunlop 205/55-VR15 SP Sport W10 tires. Of course I have to remount
rear-->front tires when I need to rotate, but that is no big deal seeing
that my Hakkapeliitta 1's go on the Avant (on OE BBS rims) in about
three months. The wagon is lowered with an Eibach ProKit and SPAX full
externally adjustable shocks. Stock size 205/60-15's barely rubbed the
plastic inner fender. The 205/55-15's are a perfect fit and even work
well on the autocross track! With the one size ratio smaller tires =
lower gearing, the wagon shoots off the line fast. Take a peek at:
