Dented Rocker panel on Ur-q
On Saturday I dented my baby. I was parking at a cocktail party and had to
go through a very narrow trail to get to the parking on a feild. Well, in
this trail there was a stump that stuck up and I went over it denting the
right side pocker panel, It made me feel alot better to know that my brother
and at least 5 other people hit this stump. The dent goes from the middle of
the door to the welded seam at the trailing edge of the door. The seam let
go so there is no damage behind the seam. My question is, how structual is
the rocker panel on the Ur-q. I want to have it fixed correctly. Does this
mean that this seam has to be brazed, welded? I have a guy who has been
doing body work for our family for the last twenty years and I have always
been inpressed with the quality of work but he is not at all familure with
the Ur-q so I want to be able to give him some pointers on how to do it
corrrectly. Thanks for any input.
Cheers,
Jim Hahn
