Hi everyone,
Thanks for the welcome.
Tony:
Thanks for the tip. I've seen loads of 5k parts cars out there.
Doug:
The "spa" stands for school of physics and astronomy.
Jery:
Aren't 4kQ's fun? I had a blast last night driving my friends around. i love
the way this little car sounds. It kind of roars down the street, not like a
tacky T-top with hockey hair and a gaudy eagle on the hood, but rather a
Eurotrash Princess hopped up on espresso and expensive cigarettes.
Doyt:
Thanks for the web address.
Kneale:
I think the powerplant is just fine right now. It's a quattro with a five
cylinder. The car is light and manueverable and feels really fast in the first
three gears, which is really nice for a change. I'm just thinking about down
the road, after making, to paraphrase Han Solo, "a few special modifications,
myself." And since the engine has a ton of miles on it, I might need to replace
it soon enough anyway.
Thompson:
I will talk to Keith Anderson before embarkingon such an endeavor. I will check
out your web page too.
Michael:
Need more girls indeed. I bet you make ascii winkies at all the newbies...
Re. Insurance: I filled out forms for a new company last night and they asked
about "Modifications" to which I slyly answer "none," thinking about the turbo
swap all along. Of course, the downside is, if I do the swap and the car gets
stolen, I'll never get the real value.
I must get some work, done. Marc, get back to writing code!
