Or a 1985 and up VW GTI.  Some later 88 or 89 GTI's went back to drums though.

I found them to be a big improvment on my Coupe.
The brake pedal got firmer and travel reduced.
I also dialed in a little more rear bias to make them work a bit harder.

Or a US 16v Passat.
The 4kq/'85-up Coupe calipers are also identical (as they used the 10.1" rotor
but with different bolt pattern) so if you can't find a Scirocco in the scrap
yard just grab those, I am sure you will be buing a new set of rotors so it
will not matter where you get the calipers from.
