I envy you intensely! I have been blessed to be able to attend 3 previous 
MH/Pebble Beach events (Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes honored marques), and 
really wanted to go to this one. During the Ferrari event, the combined 
villages of Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Carmel, were so full of Ferraris, in 
the morning you could walk on the beach about 7AM and hear them all coming to 
life. Truly an auto-enthusiusts dream! 
Seeing Jackie Stewart climb into a recently retired F1 Williams (which he had 
never driven before), take it onto a track he had never driven before, and 
set the track record on the third lap was a most unforgettable moment.
There are some great bars and resterants in Monterey and Pacific Grove. Try 
them all if you can. A drive down Hwy 1 through Big Sur is not to be missed 
if you have the time.
IMHO, you are at one of the prettiest places on earth, while some of the 
greatest cars ever made are gathered for your enjoyment. Does it get any 
better than that?
