Graydon Stuckey did this to my car before I bought it from him.
He compeletely replaced the top intercooler-to-TB hose (aka Michelin
man) with a fabricated metal job.  Each end has an appropriately
sized rubber hose to maintain the flex, but in the middle he placed
a bung containing a big rubber grommet into which the BOV is inserted.
He put a barbed 1/8" fitting into the intake to get the vacuum at
its finest.
