K24 Turbo?

I have an 87 5000 CS Q and my turbo needs to be gone through. I was
thinking of putting the later K24 on. What modifications if any need to be
done in order to do this? How much should expect to pay for one, that needs
to be gone through, or should I get one thats already rebuilt? I'm
intending on rebuilding one if I do decide to go that route anyway. Who
does turbo rebuilding? What modifications can be done to the turbo to have
full boost at even lower RPM's.
