what does it mean when I turn off the 88 90 quattro and the dash lights stay 
on? I never turned any of the lights on today and now the dash lights ONLY 
stay on ALL the time, I was cleaning out the car and this started....what's 
the deal? can't find a reason this would happen to save my life! HELP!
things I have tried to fix it:
turn the lights on and off
start the car with lights on and with lights off
unscrew the battery - terminal
checked all fuses
turned the dash bright and dim knob
hit the check system knob
