Rear Spring Rubbing !?!

    I discovered the reason of my rear suspension problems, the rear
driver's spring is rubbing against the inner wall of the wheel arch.  The
passenger's side spring leaves enough room for me to get my hand between the
spring and the inner wall.  The driver's side does not leave any room
between the inner arch and the spring at any point of movement.
    What is going on here?  Is the rear driver's strut tower bent(non-q)?
This worries me.
