'82 Audi 5000S won't start...

OK, any suggestions would be appreciated!  I have a 1982 Audi 5000S, 2.2 Auto 
California Non-Turbo Non-Quattro.  The car has a serious starting problem.  
In the morning, (around 50 degrees) the car will start when the engine is 
cold.  After it has warmed up, it will not re-start.  In the afternoon, 
(around 80 degrees) it will not start at all.  The fuel pump seems to be ok, 
but I can only read 10.5v DC being supplied to it when the car finally is 
running.  When the car will not start, I only can read between 4 and 9 volts. 
 I have replaced the fuel pump relay and the cold start injector, but that 
has not even attempted to solve the problem.

I'm hoping that someone else out there has had this problem and is willing to 
share the fix that they found before I replace every single component in the 
Bosch system...
