I found the same story when trying to buy some used parts ... unless the 
order was for stuff that cost a bunch and was easily packed for shipping, 
nobody was interested in selling to me.  IME, you've got to find somebody on 
the ground to chase down the parts and handle the shipping chores for you.  
On the other hand, I've had great success when dealing with outfits like 
Demon Tweeks ... I used to FAX over requests for a quote when I'd leave the 
office at night and found a reply in the FAX machine the next morning when I 
returned.  :^)
