fixed my dash light problem

well it turned out to be something very simple.  apparently, my cigarette
adapter for my cell phone fell apart while plugged in.  the metal tip, the
fuse and the fuse cap all fell into the cigarette port as i removed the
adapter.  i did not notice this until i tried to plug it in again and there
was all this metal junk in the lighter hole.  the fuse for the adapter had
bridged the circuit somehow and blew itself, therefore creatiing the short.
i took all that crap out of the lighter, replaced the fuse and everything
worked fine.
