Re: MH 99 Parade Lap Speeds Was: No A2 ur-q's at MH99

Robinson, Michael/SJC decided to speak these words:

>I was right behind Steve Bucholz in his V8 on the parade laps. Next to me

Well, while i had the inclination originally to do a bit of "off track
excursion" my better judgement got ahold of me and i stayed on track. I
did hit about 85 or so through the corkscrew abotu where mike said he did
too...but at that point i was catching back up to the rest of the group
to keep accelerating. And then on Andretti's curve, i hit the first of
the 2 apexes and then got on the throttle hard, and just as i hit the 2nd
apex, i cranked the wheel and let up, just to get a bit of sideways
action in front of the q-club corral..

But other than that, pretty sedate...

later...
