I'll suggest staying away from labs as a source of this stuff.

What you _don't_ need is 'analytical grade' toluene.  It will have a
printed chemical analysis on the label, and that makes it very costly. It
is useful in doing chemical analysis.

You are going to dump it into a gasoline tank, and the lowest grade
available will be just fine, and will cost the least.

My local hardware store (HWI affiliate) carries pints, quarts, and
gallons of acetone, xylol, alcohol, toluene, MEK, and probably a few
other wonderfully toxic solvents.  Don't know where you're located but I
bet you can't buy it in California, clean air, smog, and VOC's coming to
mind...
