Cell phones [OT] Longish..sorry

Since I know all of you are so up on the latest and the greatest technology, 
I'd like some opinions.

I feel as if I made a really big mistake with my current wireless contract 
and since it is about to end, I'd like to hear what you all think about some 
other possibilities. Right now I use AT&T Digital One Rate. I pay a flat rate 
for 600 anywhere, anytime minutes. Most of the time I'm at home in New Jersey 
- New York, and the service is adequate, not terrific, adequate. But, I've 
found that when I travel, I'm not getting any service at all in a lot of 
places and that can be annoying to say the least.

My other two choices are Sprint PCS and Comcast. You never know how a new 
wireless service is going to perform until you go out of state and then you 
can be in for a rude awakening. I'd like to avoid doing that again. I've had 
Comcast Digital before and liked it (They just don't have the best people 
doing customer service IMO, that's why I didn't re-up with them last year). 
Sprint, though is offering a great deal at the moment, I just don't know a 
single soul that uses them.

Every time you change companies, you have to bounce for a new phone. Sprint 
doesn't require a year long contract but you still have to invest in their 
phone even if you switch after the first month. The money I save on cell 
phones can be spent on Baby (Audi content).
