Wheel-less in Seattle

I'm taking a moment out from our honeymoon to send a quick message to the list--can't stay away from the quattro list too long! My 5k is parked in Seattle right now and it really needs some pearl Fuchs. After putting new tires on the darn Riken wheels (came with the car when I got it), the car drove great... until it had a full tank of gas and luggage for the 850-mile drive from Menlo Park, CA, to Seattle. Fender well rubbing on every little bump. We were going to have four of us in the car, including my fiancee, but ended up sending her and her sister on a plane instead. It was a sad situation, though it worked out fine.

We made the trip all right by lightening the load, keeping the gas below half a tank, and putting (gasp) two sets of rubber spacers in the rear suspension. I would like to get some proper wheels before driving back down on September 10th. (We're in Banff, Canada, right now, having a great time, by the way.)

So if you have any pearl Fuchs to sell, please reply directly to this alumni account. I'm open to any reasonable prices. Thanks! Now back to wedded bliss.
