simplest is best.  2wd, non turbo, and not too many expensive features
to break.  I'd say a 4 cyl 4000 for economy in fuel as well.

I don't think an Audi is that great of a choice for someone who can't
afford the occasional slightly pricey repair, because they treat you so
much better if you can stay on top of the broken things.  Not that they
break that much, right?
