How to :90q V6 fuel Filter

Greetings;

        I see the same accursed engineer who placed the air filter setup
on the 4000csq moved on to place the fuel filter on my 90qv6 . It there
a easy way of changing this without buying a shop manual , spare lines ,
washers and bizarre tools ?  Is it safe to pull the filter down to get
to the top fitting . Any BTDT would be helpful...

        Why to engineers who place filters or pumps etc which require
changing eventually in unserviceable locations ? Theta should be made to
perform the change at night -20c night  with rusty pliers and a butter
knife.
