Will different F/R tires hurt differentials?

My 5ksq came with Goodyear "GTII" all season tires on the front, and some
old studded (studs worn out) snow tires on the rear. Although both sets are
195/60 tires, the snow tires seem to have a higher sidewall profile. If the
actual diameter (and circumference) of the rear tires is different from the
front, will this cause undue differential wear due to inconsistent axle
speeds between front and rear?  I wouldn't mind having a good reason to
replace the unsightly rears,  but if it's not hurting the car, It would
probably be $mart to stick it out for a few more seasons...
