Sure, they're both 3spd autoboxes with the oil coolers mounted in the same 
spot. Try to use the flywheel(flexplate) from the '89 200 with that trans; 
otherwise you'll have to use your old torque converter with the '89 trans. 
It's better to leave all your old parts behind, so as not to transfer any 
previous problems over to your new trans.
