No one knows.
Absolute Zero is absolutely unattainable with our current process.
Zapping away heat by adding energy will only get us to a million of a 
degree above, but when we hit it...Some scientists think that it could be a 
new type of fission, the energy somehow sustaining the quark/subatomic 
particle cohesion.  Could you imagine that?
Being the first scientist to achieve 0K and not being to tell anyone 
because the sample turned into fissionable material and the laser somehow 
set it off?
