IA's "custom" intake manifold for 20v turbos...

I was just flipping through the March, 1999 issue of "Turbo" magazine and 
took a closer look at the article about Ned Ritchie's turbo 90 (aka "5000" -- 
was the proofreader sleeping or what?).

Anyway, I noticed that his "custom" intake manifold looks an awful lot like 
the ones sold by MTM, the difference being an IA logo cast into the top 
instead of the MTM one.  Is this a case of great minds thinking alike or 
simple badge engineering?  Just curious...
