Thanks for all of the replies. I was thinking that grip was the main thing
I'd loose. I've decided on some Pirelli P6000 Sport Veloce. They are a very
reasonably priced v-rated tire. Since I run winter wheels, these seem like
a good bet (in spite being all season tires).
