The minute the car starts moving say above 30mph the
cooling reduces, quite frustrating on a 90+ degree day.

Bet the fresh air flap is opening on acceleration like my 86 4KCSQ does.
Still haven't figured out the problem, other than vacuum drops on hard
acceleration.
But my heated seats are now working (thanks, Huw for all your help) - ready
for winter. Fresh air flap can wait until next summer ;-)
