RE: Eurolight Questions
Gary,
You can use any size bulbs you want, so long as you have a relayed harness,
the higher the wattage the higher the cost (for the bulbs).
Aim the lights using a deserted road, the wall method is a bit "iffy", never
worked for me
Use the 3M protective film on your lights (the thin one), I have been using
it for over two years without a problem.
Get one of Avi's super alt. (150Amp) it will greatly improve your lights at
idle, it will not run your battery down and it will allows you to run all
the wattage you want with your AC on, and all your after run "due dads".
Most IMPORTANT those "super alt" come with a 14.8Voltage reg. (it will
charge your battery even at idle!) factory reg. is 14Volts.
Good luck and enjoy the added "brightness", may you life be as bright as
your new lights...........
Take care,
Avi

Subject: Eurolight Questions
Hi Audifans;
I've decided to put Eurolights on the new Avant, and had some questions...
1. Sounds like Phillipe at Metrix is the place to buy them. Price is up to
(I am told) $550. Comments??
2. What wattage can/should I run. I figure if I'm gonna do this, I should
go big, WTF, 80w/100w, or 100w/120w, any suggestions and BTDT on wattage is
appreciated...
3. Harnesses. I don't have time to make them. If I'm going to run Phil
Payne sized wattages, I figure I need 4 relays. So who makes the best
harnesses? btdt also appreciated...
4. Anything else I forgot? I'm gonna have Mike at Ingolstadt West do the
installation, so I'm not sweating the install.
Thanks All,
Gary Lewis
