hi folks, my name is alan packer and I just took delivery yesterday of my
1999.5 A4 avant 2.8.  I ordered it 6 months ago - turns out avant, 2.8,
sport package and 5-speed is a pretty rough combo to get.  anyone else
driven a 99.5 model yet?  the suspension upgrades are awesome!  definite
improvement in steering feel and feedback, although I haven't pushed it hard
enough to see if there's an improvement at speed.  

anyway, I live in portland, oregon and I'm looking to join a quattro club to
get in some track days here at PIR.  should I just join the national quattro
club or is there a local chapter?  anyone out there from portland?
recommendations appreciated.
